About Restore Veterinary Physiotherapy

Who are we?

Restore Veterinary Physiotherapy is run by Katie Walker, a Masters-level qualified Veterinary Physiotherapist registered with the Register of Animal Musculoskeletal Practitioners, with Level 3 and 4 Certificates in Canine Hydrotherapy. Katie also currently lectures at Anglia Ruskin University on a variety of degree programmes, including the BSc Canine Therapy, MVetPhys and MSc in Veterinary Physiotherapy programmes. In addition to this, Katie also works part time in the University's teaching clinic, The ARU Canine Rehabilitation Clinic where students learn their key practical and professional skills whilst getting to treat real-life cases on a daily basis. As part of this clinic role, Katie also maintains annual membership to the Canine Hydrotherapy Association. 


Now residing in Colchester, Katie is excited to expand her client base treating pets in and around Colchester, Chelmsford and the greater Essex area. 



About Katie

Originally born in Lincolnshire, Katie moved to Essex to study Veterinary Physiotherapy. Having always been passionate about caring for animals, studying physiotherapy was the final step in beginning an incredibly rewarding career helping animals on a daily basis. 


In 2024 Katie adopted Geri, a rescue dog from Spain who she raises with her partner in their Colchester home. Outside of work they enjoying finding new woodland walks together, whilst Katie also attends Crossfit workouts to fuel her other passion in fitness.
